Murphy's Track Club is suited for all levels of walkers and runners
that want to improve their fitness level. The program employs the
interval training concept to maximize the individuals performance.
Interval training provides a series of relatively short measured and
controlled stresses to the individual's cardio-vascular system
intertwined with specified recovery periods.
In the past, athletes
in this program running 5K, 10K, triathlons and marathons have realized
the benefits through reduced race times. Individuals not running a
race will also see benefits related to their increased fitness
level. The Track Club is an integral part of the Marathon
Training Programs.
